Has an impressive movie credits list starting with a role in "The Graduate," a featured part in "The Thousand Plane Raid," and the Lucille Ball-Henry Fonda comedy, "Yours, Mine, and Ours." On television, he has appeared in episodes of "The Virginian," "It Takes a Thief," "The Outsider," and as Robert Stack's assistant in "The Name of the Game." Now he is Jed "Kid" Curry (alias Thaddeus Jones) in his new TV series "Alias Smith and Jones."

Ben was going to make baseball his life-time career, but then he discovered acting!

Ben has attended five different universities.

Before he broke into movie and television roles, he appeared in stage presentations of "Barefoot in the Park," "Mary, Mary," and "Sunday in New York."

Ben is dedicated to acting so much that in his spare time he attends acting classes and workshops.

The versatile Mr. Murphy has a degree in political science from the University of Illinois and another bachelor's degree in drama from the Pasadena Playhouse in Los Angeles.

He squeezes singing and karate lessons into his busy schedule!

Traveling is in his blood, and he hopes to someday write a book describing his travels throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
