Naturally we expected to find him resting up when we visited him in his North Hollywood apartment, but he surprised us! When we arrived he was juggling a pile of books he had decided to move in one hand and the telephone in the other.
"They're all about health foods," Ben explained, waving a book in our direction. "I'm really into this kind of thing; makes you feel fantastic all the time!"
Naturally this got our recipe-hunting nose a-twitching, and to our delight, Ben led us into his teeny-tiny kitchen and in five minutes flat had us drinking one of the grooviest blender-confections we'd ever tasted! (Added to an organic peanut butter sandwich on 7-grain bread, we were ready to run all the way home!) Try it as a substitute for breakfast or just because it tastes so good and you'll see what we mean!
