Too late--I'd been spotted! Then I suddenly realised what it was that had set you all scribbling to Ben and Rog at precisely the same time...You'd think I'd never heard of St. Valentine before, wouldn't you?
Well, our two Aliases are certainly going to have heard plenty about him by the time this month draws to an end, if all your cards and letters I've had so far are anything to go by! Because these can only be the advance consignment...Goodness knows what it'll be like here as the 14th draws nearer!
By the time you read this, you will probably have already posted your cards to Ben and Rog. At least, that's the way I hope it'll be, if you want me to forward them for you. Because I can't promise that your Valentines will reach the boys on time unless they're with me by Monday, 5th February.
So, if you're one of those people who are still hunting for the perfect Valentine, you'd better be ready to take the responsibility of sending it off direct. You can write to both of them at the Universal Studios, and the address you'll need for that is:
Universal City Studios
100 Universal City Plaza
Universal City
California, 91608
Or you can reach Ben by sending to his American Fan Club address, which I must have given you before. But, just in case you've lost it between times, here it is again:
Ben Murphy Fan Club,
4616 Cahvenga Boulevard,
N. Hollywood,
California, 91602
Oh, and while I'm on the subject of mailbags
and postboxes, don't forget to post early for Ben's Birthday,
will you? All Ben's fans will have the date indelibly printed
on their hearts of course. But for any new converts to the Murphy
scene (who might not be completely up to date yet) the day to
remember is Tuesday, 6th March.
