Monty Laird was AS&J's
stunt coordinator, weapons expert, and Ben's stand-in. Before
his death on April 16, 2004, he kindly communicated with AS&J
fans on various message boards and by e-mail. He also sent many
of the photos below by e-mail to the AS&J Collection
website.
Monty and Ben Murphy developed
a close friendship that remained until Monty's death. They worked
together on other projects in the 1970s and 1980s. Monty was
also a friend of Pete Duel and spoke of him for three interviews
with Melody Cecko of the Peter Deuel Remembrance Club: interview 1, interview
