Dennis Fimple played the recurring role of Kyle Murtry on AS&J. He had a long acting career, appearing in many TV shows and movies. (Internet Movie Database page on Dennis.)

Four of the photos below were taken only one week before Dennis' death on August 23, 2002. They were sent to the website by Sam Maccarone, who starred in, produced, directed, and wrote Captain Jackson, a sci-fi internet TV series in which Dennis appeared. In the e-mail that came with the photos, Sam described Dennis as "one of the coolest actors I have met. He had been in so many projects, but he was a really humble man." He also said that the inexperienced actors on Captain Jackson learned a lot from working with Dennis.

Dennis was a good friend of Pete Duel. He spoke about Pete in the late 1980s for two interviews with Melody Cecko of the Peter Deuel Remembrance Club: Interview with Dennis Fimple and Update with Dennis Fimple.
